I feel my time on this project has been very good.
I have never wanted to be a producer on a film as i feel its a role i would not be good at but on this film i feel i have worked really hard and the time and effort myself and the whole team has out in has really paid off.
The things i would change about this project were making sure we had a clip mic on every shoot and also a tripod as this would have given us a greater flexibility with our interview options. I would have also liked to have attended 1 or 2 more sessions to have further shots of Roy in action and more options when it comes to games and filming which in turn would have made us able to use different and perhaps more relevant sync with our commentary.
The things i have enjoyed about this project is that our team is exactly that - A TEAM. We are friends but also think very similarly in terms of what we are after and this has helped us a lot. We are all really passionate about the project and this has made sure that we have produced a film of high standard and worked at a very high level. I have also enjoyed all the small details we have thought of and brought to the film making it a great experience to work on. All our contributors have been so perfect and helped our film to be so good as their stories all really matter and hopefully the film can make a difference to cynophobia sufferers.
I'm not the easiest teammate at times and can get very stressed and bossy if i think we need a certain thing for the film and the boys have been great at dealing with this which has helped our dynamic. If i get over excited or moody the boys will laugh or take it in their stride which really helps us to keep our laid back atmosphere and jokey vibes. Im really glad i got to work with such hard working and talent people and hope we can work together again next year.
Having to change our project a week before filming was a big hassle but i feel it may have been the best thing to happen as we have had amazing access and would never have been able to go to the isle of wight more than once and this would have been a major risk and I'm glad we've prepared for every possibility as this has helped majorly.
Ultimately, i am very proud of our film. It is something that we went in with the idea that children are scared of dogs but unaware of the extent that these people suffer and the affect it has on their lives. We all have become so passionate about their cause and really wanted to show how good the work they do is.

Documentary Unit: Hero Hounds Poster
Here is the poster for Hero Hounds:
I really love it and we really worked as a team to come up with the idea and help create it. Danny thought it would be a good idea to have a rhyming slogan as it would be catchy and wanted to add our hero hounds logo to the dog's collar which we all thought was a good idea. Chris came up with the idea of having the colourful dogs and also using one that looked like Ruby from the show. I thought of the slogan.

Documentary Unit: Hero Hounds Trailer Idea
We wanted to come up with a trailer for our film, so we could include it as an extra option on the dvd we give to our contributors and also use for our Facebook site to create some excitement. Promotion is an important part of any successful show. We all discussed the ideas we could use and came up with a simple idea. Chris taught me how to put it into practice and i created a basic version and sent it to Chris to make it more professional.
Here is the initial idea i made:

Documentary Unit: Hero Hounds DVD Cover 1
Here is the first Hero Hound DVD cover that Chris created with the assistance of Danny. We are all very pleased with it and feel it makes the film look very professional.
I mentioned to Chris the only problem i had with it was the quote used at the top and would prefer something related to cynophobia or more about the dogs. Chris has said he will work on the cover further and to think of some quote ideas by our meeting tomorrow.

Documentary Unit: Music Casting Call Response
We had a few really good applications for music on our film.
After going through them we limited it down to 3 and decided to see what they could produce in our style and then if they produced something we wanted to use we would contact them again:
here are the 3 finalists:
