Chris and myself emailed the Kent Roller Girls through Facebook and their email address however all their emails seemed to bounce back so i began to get worried. Then Chris said he had heard back of a player called Jocamotion and that they were really keen to be involved. Initially as we knew they trained in Chatham we felt this would be our best filming location as it wasn't too far, however Jo mentioned that the sessions they do in Herne bay are for the squad players and the ones in chatham are more for beginners. We had a chat amongst ourselves and said that we would go to a sunday session. She mentioned that the track they have is more professional and their is even a spectator area and that during the sessions in herne bay they have bouts which would be a match to us outside of the sport. This felt like it would be perfect and chris said that she had mentioned a lot of the girls are used to speaking on camera or would be willing to be interviewed so this was great.
now to put the finishing touches to our plan for filming.
