Today i held a Skype audition for a man who i really wanted to audition but couldn't make it due to work commitments. It went really well and he made every effort to let me know that he would take a annual leave day of work to make sure he could make the weekday shoots as he usually can't do weekdays.
I would do Skype auditions again as it was really simple to set up and for films where their is no pay it is a good way to get your actors on board as they won't have to pay for travel to the audition and then the shoot days.
