Documentary Unit: Idea Refocus

Due to the cancellation of our previous participants, we had to speak to Roy Dyer about the refocusing of our idea. We knew he ran a Cynophobia class at his centre so wanted to speak with him about using these dogs as a potential focal point with the centre, Roy and his display team also a small part of the documentary. Danny rang Roy and mentioned this to him and he was thrilled to be involved in a larger capacity. He mentioned again the days of all his classes - Wednesday 7-8pm is the Cynophobia class, Thursday from 7pm is Display Team training along with other obedience and agility training and Sunday's from 12-3pm is also Display Team Training. We told Roy that we would come down to the following weeks sessions with this sunday being a test shoot and location scout.
Roy mentioned that he would ask parents in advance to see if anyone would like to speak with us on camera about their families experience of the classes and Cynophobia in general. He also mentioned about organising interviews with some of the handlers about their dogs and how they got into being a handler.
With this in mind we told Roy we would send him a basic script idea so he would be aware of the type of things we wanted to film and then he could speak to us about any problems before we came up with the final script idea.

Now to come up with the first script.

Stay safe,

Helen
